1.1 Facilitation Purpose

The Regional AI Registry & Marketplace (the "Registry") is operated by the AI Unit of the Ministry of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation (MITCI) as a public digital facilitation tool. Its purpose is to connect organisations seeking AI-powered solutions with local and regional solution providers.

1.2 No Endorsement or Certification

The listing of any company, solution, product, dataset, or service on the Registry does not constitute:

• An official endorsement by the Ministry of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation;
• A certification, quality accreditation, or guarantee of fitness for purpose issued by the Government of Mauritius;
• A recommendation that any listed solution is suitable for any particular organisational use case; or
• A representation that any listed company meets any regulatory, technical, or financial standard.

1.3 Due Diligence Obligation

All users of the Registry are independently responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any technical collaboration, Proof of Concept, commercial contract, or financial arrangement with any party introduced via the Registry. The Government of Mauritius, MITCI and the AI Unit accept no liability for outcomes arising from such arrangements.

1.4 Accuracy of Information

While the AI Unit takes reasonable steps to verify registration eligibility, the Registry relies substantially on information self-declared by registrants. The AI Unit does not independently verify the accuracy, currency, or completeness of solution descriptions, capability claims, or company profiles. Users should not rely solely on Registry content when making procurement or partnership decisions.

1.5 AI-Generated Content

Some solution summaries and profile descriptions on the Registry may have been generated or enhanced using AI-based writing tools by the submitting Provider. Such content is published as submitted and has not been independently verified by the AI Unit. The presence of AI-generated content is not itself an indicator of inaccuracy, but users are advised to verify material claims directly with the Provider.

The Registry may contain links to external websites operated by registered entities. The AI Unit is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of external sites. The inclusion of an external link does not imply endorsement of the linked site or its operator.
